Hotels Turn to Social Media to Connect With Travelers
This is a great article from the New York Times:

“35 percent of mobile-phone users expect to book travel on their phones in the next year.”
Search Engine Optimization Firms – Buyer Beware
One of our clients contacted us yesterday as they were approached by a firm claiming to have a “special relationship” with Google. They guaranteed first page organic rankings for any keyword they desired. “Just fill out this form and give us your credit card information”. NOT!
We see these scams frequently and unfortunately many companies end up paying a steep price to break free. This particular company listed an 866# for cancelling, but it was a disconnected phone number. According to the many online complaints, clients had no way of cancelling, so the company kept raking in the recurring monthly credit card fees.
Google states the following on their website: “beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings or allege a “special relationship” with Google”. It’s true. Google doesn’t play favorites.
Deciding to hire a Search Engine Optimization firm is an important decision that can likely save time and improve your rankings, or damage your rankings and reputation depending on the company you choose. It’s important to research wisely, and work with a reputable search engine optimization company. While it may take some time to make your decision, it will definitely pay off in the long run!
